Aviationtag X Widerøe

In honor of Widerøe’s 90th anniversary, we have teamed up with the Norwegian carrier to create a unique Aviationtag edition. These tags come from the De Havilland Canada DHC-8-300, "Dash 8," registration LN-WFP, which joined Widerøe’s fleet in May 1998 and retired in June 2023.

This exclusive collection, available in four stunning colors, celebrates the enduring legacy of Widerøe and the aircraft that served it since the 90s. Each Aviationtag is a piece of history, meticulously upcycled to promote sustainability and preserve the heritage of Norway’s oldest aviation group.

A notice: Every Aviationtag is unique. Depending on the plane, they differ in their feel, thickness of the material and color. Small bumps tell of the many years in the air and express the character of days gone by. Minor scratches, paint chips and bumps are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm - that of a vintage product made from upcycled materials. These special features did not arise from the production process, but rather reflect the condition of the aircraft material used!

When used as a key ring or as a luggage tag, we recommend using the Aviationtag protective cover.

De Havilland Canada Dash 8: The De Havilland Canada DHC-8, commonly known as the Dash 8, is a series of turboprop-powered regional airliners introduced in 1984. The Dash 8-311, such as Widerøe's LN-WFP, features a longer airframe stretched by 3.43 meters, accommodating 50-56 passengers. It is equipped with Pratt & Whitney Canada PW123 engines, delivering up to 2,500 shp. The aircraft boasts a wingspan of 27.4 meters and a high-speed capability of 532 km/h, with a range of 924 nautical miles. An extended service program launched in 2017 increases its design service life to 120,000 flight cycles.
