Retro 51 Limited Edition Mosquito (Mann Inc Exclusive)* 

Our new Mosquito exclusive is a tribute to the de Havilland Mosquito serving with the US Army Air Force. We wanted to showcase our special relationship between Mann Inc and Retro 51. Choosing a British Fighter Bomber that served with the USAAF. 

This is a Mk 16 photo reconnaissance version, which flew at altitudes of up to 37500' speeds of 415 MPH and had a range of over 2450 nautical miles. It was powered by two Rolls Royce Merlin 72, 73 or 76 engine with a pair of two-stage superchargers. Truly stunning performance which could fly higher and faster than enemy fighters at the time. 

We feel at Mann Inc that our Exclusives need to be historically accurate, interesting and significantly different from any previous Exclusives. The Mosquito has 2 tone-trim with a red knurled top and dark blue nose cone. This will stand out in your Retro 51 collection, with a special providence that will be a limited edition. The American Pilots were impressed by the type's speed and agility. Some US pilots mentioned it was superior to anything American manufactures offered at the time. 

The Retro 51 Tornado Mosquito is a retractable rollerball pen with a trademarked knurled twist-top. Mk 16 de Havilland Mosquito, Reg NS519 has authentic WWII photo reconnaissance markings and features acid-etched printing to recreate plane panels, exhausts, and squadron markings. Each pen is finished with two tone trim and the top disc features the "P" photo reconnaissance marking.
