The Boeing 777-200ER, registration HZ-AKN (MSN 28357), was delivered to Saudi Arabian Airlines in December 1998. Configured with 14 business-class and 327 economy-class seats, it served as a reliable workhorse for long-haul routes. After its retirement in Riyadh in September 2018, the aircraft was moved to the United States in 2019, where it was parked and awaited its next chapter.

In 2023, we took the opportunity to upcycle this iconic aircraft, transforming its materials into a one-of-a-kind Aviationtag edition. Owning an Aviationtag means holding a tangible piece of aviation history, and this edition offers a special connection to the legacy of the HZ-AKN. These aircraft tags are more than collectibles—they make thoughtful gifts for aviation enthusiasts and collectors alike. Plus, they’re practical as keychains or luggage tags.

Don’t miss your chance to own this unique Aviationtag from the legendary HZ-AKN!

Please read the product note at the bottom of the page!

Note: Every tag is unique. Depending on the plane, tags may vary in terms of haptics, material thickness and colour. Small blemishes bear witness to the plane’s long history and are an authentic reminder of its glory days over the clouds. Small scratches, flaky paint and imperfections are totally normal and give our Aviationtags their unique charm – the charm of a vintage product crafted from upcycled materials. These quirks are not the result of the production process, they simply reflect the state of the aircraft material we use when it was extracted.

The original aircraft paint of this edition is very sensitive, especially at the edges – even though we gave it extra care. That is not a reason that we can accept for claims or complaints. Please take good care of your tag and we strongly suggest to use the Aviationtag protection cover.
