Any item returned to us or any order that has a delivery refusal will be refunded minus the additional fees charged plus the original postage cost. We strongly recommend any order made by a resident of China includes the official resident ID number to ensure its not refused by customs.

Please note: Every tag is unique. Depending on the plane, tags may vary in terms of haptics, material thickness and colour. Small blemishes bear witness to the plane’s long history and are an authentic reminder of its glory days over the clouds. Small scratches, flaky paint and imperfections are totally normal and give our Aviationtags their unique charm – the charm of a vintage product crafted from upcycled materials. These quirks are not the result of the production process, they simply reflect the state of the aircraft material we use when it was extracted.

Hello OE-LAX!

We have been looking for a former Austrian Airlines aircraft for a long time and now we have finally found it! And where can you find a plane from the neighboring country? In the US, of course, so it now has a few more miles under its non-existent hump.

We are very pleased to be able to present you the Aviationtag Edition of the former Austrian Airlines Boeing 767-300ER OE-LAX today. The OE-LAX with the MSN 27095 was delivered to the then Lauda Air in 1992 and was given a sonorous christening with "James Dean".

After 15 years of service, the airline founded by former Formula 1 pilot Niki Lauda switched the Boeing 767 to Austrian Airlines in 2007 as part of the takeover. There it was given the nickname “Salzburg Festival”.

So the OE-LAX finally ended up with the cargo airline Kalitta Air in Michigan, which still registered the machine as N788CK, but only exploited it for spare parts. We jumped at the chance and were able to secure some beautiful parts of the Boeing 767 for our aviation tags!

Get yours now!

Manufacturer: Boeing

Model: B767

Registration: OE-LAX

Last airline: Austrian Airlines

The original aircraft paint of this edition is very sensitive, especially at the edges – even though we gave it extra care. That is not a reason that we can accept for claims or complaints. Please take good care of your tag and we strongly suggest to use the Aviationtag protection cover.

Boeing 767: The Boeing 767-300ER is a version of the 767-300 with a significantly longer range and the additional fuselage tank, as it was already installed in the 767-200ER. The OE-LAX as Extended Range (ER) had a maximum range of 11,297 KM, whereas a classic 767-300 could only reach a maximum of 9,075 km.

The development of the 767-300ER began in 1985 and the first flight took place on December 19, 1986. As is so often the case with Boeing, the launch customer was American Airlines, which had ordered 15 aircraft in March 1987. The takeoff weight could optionally be increased to 172,365 kg. From 1992 even a take-off weight of 186,880 kg was permitted. The last of the 583 machines produced was delivered to Air Astana in Kazakhstan in June 2014; this was also the last delivery of a passenger 767.

Both 300 versions (B763 and B763ER) will also be equipped with an additional center exit in front of the wing at the request of the airlines. This means that three doors of the same size are mounted on each side - as with the OE-LAX.
